On Tuesday, November 11, Marlin Jackson teamed up with international hunger relief organization Feed The Children to provide 400 pre-identified families with a 25 pound box of food and a box of personal care items. The distribution took place at LeGore Boys & Girls Club. The families were pre-identified by the Boys & Girls Clubs and Marlin Jackson Fight for Life Foundation of the Institute for Science and Health.

The Marlin Jackson Fight for Life Foundation is making an impact in the lives of youth by focusing on programming in the areas of education and wellness. Marlin is enlightening children on how to overcome the peer pressures of poverty by encouraging positive behaviors in an effort to reach their dreams and goals.

Earlier this year, Marlin kicked off the Field of Dreams incentive program in Indianapolis as well as Marlin's hometown of Sharon, Pa. The Field of Dreams program rewards youth for positive choices in life, with a special emphasis on attitude, education, and community service. The program is structured to encourage kids to make positive decisions and avoid negative behaviors. It benefits children between the ages 8-12. Using a giant football field to chart their progress, members have the opportunity to receive incentive items based on their personal successes in school, home, and at the community center. As the youth meet goals in these areas they gain yards on the football field.
